Comment:

This novel shows how Filipino respect and give importance to family. Crispin is really an admirable man, after having the chance to live in America, experience and love everything else there, still he returns to from where he came. It’s because he loves his father and family and he knows he can fulfil dreams wherever we may be as long as we know to value things in life.
